Your artwork, Red and Yellow Splash – Mottled Horses, was placed on auction this weekend at the UGA sponsored horse show and I was the highest bidder. I want to let you know how much I love this piece and want to also thank you for supporting the equestrian club team at Georgia.

I will treasure this beautiful work of art!

Thank you,
Sheila Shessel

Hello Iwona,
I just wanted to say thank you! I purchased the original “Wild Red” a while
back and I love it so much, it is just absolutely beautiful. I have a
question for you, I love your style so much and I would love to have my
horse captured by you. I love your bright colors and flair, and I don’t
want an artist that would do an “exact” copy of my horse because I think
they end up looking cheesy. I don’t know if it is anything you would do but
I would love to see my horse in one of your paintings… He has soulful eyes
and I think if you saw him, he would inspire you…. Kelly Cesarz

I’m thrilled I was able to purchase Iwona Jankowski’s Western Runner.

I thought you might want to hear the short story that makes this purchase so precious!  Our daughter, Caylah, was diagnosed with a brain condition called Chiari I Malformation.  (Essentially, the brain is too large for the skull and it sags or presses into the spine.)  Caylah had surgery a few years ago to relieve the symptoms caused by this condition.  The neurosurgeon said her case was so severe that he had to cut away part of her cervical spine to make more room for the spinal fluid to flow unencumbered to/from the brain.  In so doing, the doctor said Caylah would not have the structural support in her spine to withstand traumatic injuries or sustained jarring.  She gave up competitive dancing and was told she should never ride horses again. While our family understands the inherent risk in Caylah’s riding, she absolutely refuses to “stop living.”  And, thus, we bid on this piece of art as Caylah’s Christmas present this year.  It represents the sheer joy and majesty of horses, and Caylah’s desire to run free!  Caylah’s favorite color is purple and she loves abstract art!

Thank you again in ways you probably never imagined!

Regards,

Iwona.  I hope this note means as much to you as it did to us.  Art is such an amazing expression, and each piece touches the soul a bit differently.  We truly appreciate your gift and your support.  Have a wonderful afternoon!

Thanks!

I raise Registered American Paint Horses.  The paintings you do full of color and  “Painted Color”  are special to me regarding my painted horses.  I have six.    The colors were believed to be magical and kept them safe in battle. Your painting of the horses is just so symbolic of the blending and  coloring of the horses into the natural surroundings.  I will hang this picture over my bed.  I will one day like to have one for the living room.

Iwona,
Your work is absolutely fantastic. I’ve never been much of an arty person, but I am a horse lover. Your drawing of the horse (Grey) is beautiful, and I wanted to enquire about the price. I live in Scotland, If I’m able to buy, would you be able to send it over here?

Thanks in advance. Debbie McCutcheon
