I’m thrilled I was able to purchase Iwona Jankowski’s Western Runner.

While I know you’re very busy, I thought you might want to hear the short story that makes this purchase so precious!  Our daughter, Caylah, was diagnosed with a brain condition called Chiari I Malformation.  (Essentially, the brain is too large for the skull and it sags or presses into the spine.)  Caylah had surgery a few years ago to relieve the symptoms caused by this condition.  The neurosurgeon said her case was so severe that he had to cut away part of her cervical spine to make more room for the spinal fluid to flow unencumbered to/from the brain.  In so doing, the doctor said Caylah would not have the structural support in her spine to withstand traumatic injuries or sustained jarring.  She gave up competitive dancing and was told she should never ride horses again.

While our family understands the inherent risk in Caylah’s riding, she absolutely refuses to “stop living.”  And, thus, we bid on this piece of art as Caylah’s Christmas present this year.  It represents the sheer joy and majesty of horses, and Caylah’s desire to run free!  Caylah’s favorite color is purple and she loves abstract art!

Thank you again in ways you probably never imagined!  Please feel free to share with Ms Jankowski, if you feel it appropriate.

Regards,

Buddy Hall

Iwona.  I hope this note means as much to you as it did to us.  Art is such an amazing expression, and each piece touches the soul a bit differently.  We truly appreciate your gift and your support.  Have a wonderful afternoon!

Thanks!

Hi, I am in total love for your horse paintings. I love pastel and the viberant colours you use to bring new light on the beauty and splendor of the horse. I am an artist as well. I am 18 years old and have applied to an Art Program. You are greatly blessed with such a wonderful imagination and gift of being an artist. I love to draw and pastel is also a favorite. I was wondering do you draw from your head or do you need a guide line for your horses. I can’t seem to draw them striaght from my head. Anyways thank you for making such cheerfu peices of work C= !!!! I hope to hear from you soon. ps I love the detail in your horses eyes, I love drawing them myself.

Thankxs so much for your time. Byebye now. <3 Heather

Hello Iwona,
I just wanted to say thank you! I purchased the original “Wild Red” a while
back and I love it so much, it is just absolutely beautiful. I check your
website frequently, keeping my eye open for a second purchase. I have a
question for you, I love your style so much and I would love to have my
horse captured by you. I love your bright colors and flair, and I don’t
want an artist that would do an “exact” copy of my horse because I think
they end up looking cheesy. I don’t know if it is anything you would do but
I would love to see my horse in one of your paintings… He has soulful eyes
and I think if you saw him, he would inspire you…. Kelly Cesarz

I love your art work.  Your expression is amazing.

I raise Registered American Paint Horses.  The paintings you do full of color and  “Painted Color”  are special to me regarding my painted horses.  I have six.  The American Paint was a very scared horse to the Native Americans.  The colors were believed to be magical and kept them safe in battle.  The horses naturally blended into the natural scheme of the area.  Your painting of the horses is just so symbolic of the blending and  coloring of the horses into the natural surroundings.  I will hang this picture over my bed.  I will one day like to have one for the living room.

Do you ever do paintings with more than one horse.  I would love a scene of a herd of 6 horses painted with your expression.  I will keep an eye on  your gallery.

Dear Ms. Jankowski,

Your artwork, Red and Yellow Splash – Mottled Horses, was placed on auction this weekend at the UGA sponsored horse show and I was the highest bidder. I want to let you know how much I love this piece and want to also thank you for supporting the equestrian club team at Georgia.

I will treasure this beautiful work of art!

Thank you,

Hi Iwona,

I am doing my GSCE in Art and I am currently working on a project involving colors and traditions so I have chosen to do a composition of traditional horse uses through time, including the Medieval Mele through the Queen’s Coronation to Horse Racing. One of the things we have to do is find artists who have done similar styles to the work we want to do and when I found your amazing work on horses I was inspired to use colors in a way I thought I wouldn’t think would work with horses. So I wanted to thank you for your inspiration.

Dear Iwona,
I’m looking forward to ownership of my first ACEO!  After viewing the hundreds of them, I found your work to be closest to my heart.  I’m a silk painter and being one who loves color, I was drawn to your paintings because of your ability to manipulate color in such a passionate way.  In other words…I could “feel” your love for what you do.  Thank you for sharing your works in such a way that anyone can enjoy their beauty!

Someday soon, I am hoping to have some of my works available in ACEO form as well.

Warmly, Robin

Hi Ms Jankowski,

I have to tell you, I am not an art connoisseur by any means and I came across your sight while scanning for equine art. When I first saw the pictures in their small display, they caught my interest, but when I went to the larger picture (which is still small compared to original size), my heart just skipped a beat. I live and breed horses (I own five), and I always felt a horses eye is such a spiritual object. Your paintings have so many feelings in the eyes of the horses, surrounded by such beautiful color; it just captures it all beautifully!

I would love to be able to afford one of your large originals one day, and I noticed on your web site, you called it the horse “series”. Do you still paint horses on a regular basis, or are the ones listed the only ones in your collection. I saw the prints advertised on paper and canvas. It also states the canvas prints are not stretched. What does that mean, and would they be difficult to have framed? I also did not see a print for “Unperturbed Night” is there one available?

Thank you,

Ginger K. Michigan

I anted to let you know that I am an artist who enjoys meddling in paint.  My inspiration usually comes from Georgia O’Keefe.  The very first painting I ever bought one of yours and I absolutely love it.  I’ve had it for about five years and it’s my favorite.
You are an amazing artist.

Do you anticipate having any more original koi pond paintings available in the near future? I recently purchased two from you as gifts for dear friends who have ponds, and they were wild about them! I must admit that I also was impressed. These paintings were 18 x 24 inches. I have a third pond friend for whom I would like an original painting of that size. I bought a Michael Creese painting, but the colors are so lurid that they looked as though they came straight out of the tube! I will donate it to charity! You have far higher standards and skills! Sincerely, Carol Adkins

Hello,

I hope this email goes directly to Ms. Jankowski.  I just wanted to let you know how extraordinarily beautiful your art is.  I’m sure you hear this time after time, in every way, from many different types of people, yet I still felt I needed to email you and let you know how much your art means to me.  Even though I’m a struggling 23 year old and wouldn’t dare pondering the titillating ideas of purchasing such a luxury as your amazing artwork, I do love to admire it from afar.  Animals have had a hold of my heart since the minute I was born, horses especially.  For me, looking at a horse is like looking into the sun.  They are so beautiful and full of life, energy, and spirit, I don’t dare engage too long.  Your paintings capture their entire living energy from the wild life in their eyes to the flowing form of freedom in their bodies.  You have an amazing gift.  Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us.

I was absolutely captivated by your art. I can look at hundreds of artist’s art before finding one that I just have to have. So many of your pieces have the unexplainable X-factor, that sets them apart from the rest. I will be watching your offerings.

Wow!  Was that the fastest shipping ever?!

Gosh…thank you so much!  And my painting…I absolutely love it…beautifully done, I’m so thrilled to have it for my very own.  🙂  You are incredibly gifted.  I am a horse loving fanatic, and so often a work of equine art will fall short in capturing the essence of these beautiful creatures…not so in your case.  You’ve got it captured…the expression is perfect.

Thank you so very much for sharing, Iwona.  I will treasure this painting always.

Have a wonderful afternoon…I hope you are not in any vicinity Rita’s path.  For some reason I thought you were in California, but I noticed that you are a TX gal.  I am praying that Rita will weaken and not cause destruction for your state.

Take care, and thank you once more…

WOW….Your art is so beautiful….many of the pieces I love the most are the higher priced ones….the white orchids are divine! So I will make an offer on this red hibiscus…hoping to be given the opportunity to own another one of your incredible works. Having just donated to the Red Cross for the relief Fund (Katrina Hurricane), my funds are limited so I will give you my best offer. Thank You again for the opportunity to possibly own another magical piece by you!

Hello Iwona,

I am happy to see that you have begun to do more whites-ivories and pastels in the more ‘elegant’ genre of flowers!  The various shades of pinks, peaches and ivories in each of your choices are always sooooooo interesting and well-thought out!!  The different angles you chose are also fascinating (like 50% of the flower or showing 75% of the flower…does this makes sense?)!! I have my eye on your site and hopefully will see more this summer when I am in town to win some!!  You are a rare find for sure-Thanks for keeping me updated!

Warm Regards-Kathleen

Just received my painting yesterday from the post office and am thrilled. The eye is mesmerizing and the use of color is emotional, yet perfect. Should you continue to paint any other cats I am definitely interested. I will continue to watch for your work but please feel free to contact me with anything new.

Thank you for your vision, Kathy Knoop

Thank you so much. You can’t imagine how excited I am to be the new owner of your beautiful painting. I’ve been obsessed with it since I saw it on your site last week and HAD to have it. I lost several watercolors (of my 2 Arabians) in a fire last November & just moved back into my home 2 weeks ago(after living with 4 large dogs in a camper for a dreadful 6 mos).  I was devastated to discover that my paintings were ruined, so finding your beautiful artwork has me excited about collecting again. Your ability to capture & convey on canvas the extraordinary kindness & intelligence in an Arabian’s expression is magical. Sorry to ramble on….I just want to thank you for sharing your gift.

Iwona…
It’s been a very, very long day at work and I came home to find my package. Just finished opening the absolute first painting of this size and quality *in my life*. And staring at this I absolutely guarantee it will not be the only piece of your work to eventually find its way to my walls.
This is beyond stunning and I love it.

I can not thank you enough for your beautiful talent…and hope to run into a few German Bearded Irises someday as your subject…and Pansies… I really believe you could do justice to that lowliest of posies 🙂
Best possible regards,
Tamara

Hello Iwona-

Thank you for your reply!  I am currently on your mailing list and always look forward to each unveiling of your newest works!  Certainly I will look forward to more of your softer rose paintings…they are so elegant!

Because your work is so detailed, I feel that you attract a certain type of admirer of your work…true?  The more elegant and rich genre of flowers suits you well…better than the common-type flower choices.

I feel fortunate to have come across your work and hope to one day own some of your larger works…you are a rare jewel!

Thanks-

Warm Regards- Kathleen Garvey
